Abstract

The study examined entrepreneurial skills acquisition among college of education students as remedy to unemployment. Three research questions guided the study and a 15-item questionnaire was administered to 136 NCE II respondents from Federal College of Education (Tech.), Omoku. Percentage rating was used to analyze the data collected. The findings revealed that introduction of entrepreneurship courses in colleges of education is a good development and that properly funded with adequate time of course allocation, creating of awareness to the society, it will reduce unemployment.The researchers recommended that adequate time sholud be giving to practical than theoretical, government to provide adequate funds at same time create awareness to the society for proper orientation.
