The relevance of entrepreneurship education in contemporary Nigeria

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education in Nigeria amongst other things seeks to provide students with the knowledge, attitudes, skills and motivation to encourage entrepreneurial success in a variety of ventures. This paper provides elucidatory discussion on Entrepreneurship Education; and attempts to provide the scope and objectives of entrepreneurship education. Most importantly, the paper discusses the relevance of entrepreneurship education to socio economic and national development and then concludes with several recommendations.
